Sunburst

An exploration of light, joy and hope, Sunburst draws on the qualities that feel especially precious in today’s turbulent world. Inspired by our enduring relationship with the sun, the collection celebrates its warmth, energy and colour as a universal symbol of vitality and optimism.

Rooted in my practice of metal jewellery, the pieces bring together gold, silver, and rutilated quartz, whose fine internal strands evoke captured rays of light. Using the traditional Korean technique of Keum-Boo, 22ct gold is fused with sterling silver to create a subtle interplay of contrast and luminosity.
