Vanessa Ree Jewellery takes to International platform for Exhibition in Bucharest 2025
This October, I'm thrilled to announce that Vanessa Ree Jewellery is heading to Bucharest to take part in Romania Jewellery Week—a growing international platform for contemporary jewellery artists from around the world.
Why Romania?
You might be wondering, Why Bucharest? Why Romania?
The truth is, Romania Jewelry Week (ROJW) has become a standout event on the global jewellery scene. Hosted in the stunning National Library of Romania, this exhibition brings together innovative design, masterful craftsmanship, and a global community of jewellery innovators.
For me, it's another big step in building an international presence for my work.
And while algorithms might still favour the usual mass produced suspects, on the ground there's a noticeable shift happening: a growing community of collectors who seek out craftsmanship, intelligent design, and true originality in the world of jewellery.

A Creative Recharge in Bucharest
ROJW is more than just an exhibition. It's a chance to show my work to a fresh audience in a city known for embracing modern design. Bucharest is forward-thinking, creative and a culturally rich setting, the perfect place to showcase some of my new work & connect with like-minded artists from across the globe.
Bucharest’s energy is exciting. The people are open, curious, and deeply appreciative of contemporary art. The event will also bring together some of the most exciting names in jewellery from around the world, offering the perfect environment to exchange ideas, view fresh collections and soak up some well-needed creative inspiration before the festive season hits.
The Busyness of Business
The lead-up to this exhibition has been full on in the best possible way.
I’ve been creating new pieces for the 3D# Collection, experimenting with bold new shapes, dynamic formats, and innovative finishes. Think textured metals, contrasting rhodium and gold tones, and a few larger statement pieces that I can't wait to unveil.
Alongside the design work, there’s been the logistics: planning displays, collaborating with event organisers in Ireland and Romania, and prepping with the amazing group of Irish jewellers also taking part.
Collaboration is Key

Jewellery making can be a solitary path. So when I found out I was one of five Irish artists selected for ROJW, we decided to team up and the results have been super.
We’ve secured media coverage in both Ireland and Romania, including a feature in the Irish Arts Review, and we’ve even arranged a special reception with the Irish Ambassador to Romania.
So being part of this talented group has added something extra to the journey. Shoutout to my fellow artists: Nicole Van Der Wolf, Louisa Scott, Natasha Heaslip, and Siobhan McArdle—it’s been a joy to collaborate with you all.
What’s Next
ROJW is just one part of the evolving Vanessa Ree Jewellery journey.
There’s so much more to come—fresh designs, exciting collaborations, and new international showcases.

Thanks for being part of this journey. Stay tuned—there’s more magic on the way.
