The Design of the Airspace Collection extends from the exploration of the hashtag shape. When I was playing with this shape it occurred to me that the Airspace or Negative space was as interesting and tangible a shape as the positive shape itself. This is a fundamental of design.

Positive and negative spaces are design concepts. They refer to the relationship between the subject of a piece of art or design and the space around it. Negative and positive space in art are vital components in creating visually appealing pieces of artwork. 

The Airspace of the hashtag is the central shape to this new collection and executed in a variety of forms for a contemporary statement in wearable jewellery art.
